What is Dyadic Games' philosophy?

We make games because games shaped us. The worlds, stories and moments that never quite let go of us as players are the standard for everything we build. This is what matters to us: Our philosophy consists of three pillars: Building Worlds - We build worlds you can get lost in, and put a lot of love into details that maybe only a few players will ever find. Storage period: Server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then automatically deleted.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We store information on your device only where this is strictly necessary or where you have consented (§ 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). On your first visit a consent banner asks for your choice; declining is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional is loaded before you decide. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer of every page. Withdrawing deletes the cookies of the affected services and reloads the page, so the processing stops at once.

Strictly necessary

cc_cookie stores your consent choice (which categories, when, and which version of the banner) for about six months; after that we ask again.

To be able to prove your choice later, we also store each decision on our server: the random consent ID from cc_cookie, the banner version, the categories and services you allowed and the time — no IP address and nothing else that identifies you. This applies to sikandagame.com as well. The records are kept for the consent period plus three years and then deleted automatically.

External media (with consent)

Our game trailers on the media page are hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Until you consent, only a placeholder is shown and nothing is loaded from YouTube. When you load a video, it is embedded from youtube-nocookie.com; your IP address, device and browser information and the video you watch are sent to Google, which may store information in your browser and transfer data to Google LLC in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager to analyze user behavior on our website.

Google Consent Mode: We use Google Consent Mode v2 to respect your consent settings. Without your consent, Google Tag Manager is not loaded at all and no measurement takes place; after you consent, hits are sent with the corresponding consent signal.

Data Transfer to Third Countries: Google also processes your data in the USA. An adequacy decision by the EU Commission exists for data transfer to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

6. Spam Protection (Self-Hosted)

To protect our forms against spam and automated abuse we use ALTCHA, which runs entirely on our own servers. Your browser solves a small computational puzzle before a form is accepted; this happens automatically and requires no interaction from you.

Provider: none — no third party is involved and no data leaves our infrastructure for this purpose.

The submitted email address, kept briefly so that the same address cannot be used to trigger repeated confirmation emails
No cookies are set, and no IP address, browser fingerprint or mouse movement is collected for this purpose

7. Newsletter (Brevo)

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to send our newsletter.

Job Applications

We are not hiring at the moment and do not ask for applications. Unsolicited applications are handled as follows:

Sent to jobs@dyadicgames.com: We keep the email and its attachments to decide whether to consider the application if a position opens. We reply only if we pursue an application. It is deleted at the latest 6 months after receipt; until then we also keep it to be able to defend ourselves against claims under the Austrian Equal Treatment Act (§ 15(1) GlBG).
Sent to any other address: We delete the application without considering it and do not process it any further.

We do this because, under the principles of data minimisation and storage limitation (Art. 5(1)(c) and (e) GDPR), we keep as little personal data as possible, for no longer than necessary.

Please do not send photos or information about health, religion or other special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR). We do not pass applications on to third parties.
